Pork Sirloin: This is a steak that comes from just above the ham
at the end of the loin. This is a lean and economical cut that can
be roasted whole, browned and braised with apples and sauerkraut,
or sliced into medallions, breaded and fried. Its fairly lean, so
needs to be coddled just a little for the best results. Definitely
worth the effort!
All our pork is from pasture raised, hormone and antibiotic free
animals. They are raised with care using traditional methods
guaranteed to produce the very best tasting meat. Our pork comes
from Certified Humane Berkshire pigs or Animal Welfare Approved Red
Wattle pigs and are processed at a Certified Humane facility. Our
other breeds include Duroc, Gloucestershire Old Spots, Large Black,
Mulefoot, and Tamworth.
