Boston Butt Boneless Shoulder - 7.5 lbs
Cut from the top of the shoulder, the Boston Butt is one of the
tastiest and most versatile of cuts. Traditionally used for pulled
pork, Boston Butt is a favorite of the barbecue circuit. It can be
cooked low and slow in a pressure cooker, crockpot, or dutch oven,
to create that perfect "falling to pieces" texture, or it can be
roasted whole with liberal applications of seasonings and
marinades. The trick to the Boston Butt is the ample collagen and
fat which keeps the meat super moist and delicious. Sliced into
chops, it can be cooked as a sautee or on the grill, but we
recommend the braising method for best results. Add your favorite
barbecue sauce, or make up your own.
All our pork is from pasture raised, hormone and antibiotic free
animals. They are raised with care using traditional methods
guaranteed to produce the very best tasting meat. Our pork comes
from Certified Humane Berkshire pigs or Animal Welfare Approved Red
Wattle pigs and are processed at a Certified Humane facility.
