35 lbs
Berkshire meat is elegant, luscious and smooth. The streaks of fat
that run through Berkshire meat give it a round and buttery flavor
that melts on the tongue. The firm and substantial texture of
Berkshire meat was so cherished by the British monarchy that they
exported the breed all over the world, including Japan where it is
called Korobuta.
Our Certified Humane Berkshires are raised by Mark Newman and his
wife Rita. We know our Berkshires are purebred because they all
have six white spots, one each on the tip of their feet and one
each on the nose and tail. Unlike factory farm pigs, which have
been bred to grow quickly in indoor environments, Berkshires have
bred for maximum taste. Berkshire meat is so good it can be
prepared with almost no additional ingredients save salt and
pepper.
Quarter pigs weigh about 35 pounds, is the best way to try all the
parts of a pig, and come shipped in a box in the following
cuts:

Regarding pork, all product is sourced from Certified Humane Berkshire or Animal Welfare Approved Red Wattle breeds with the exception of Porterhouse Chops which also come from Duroc and Tamworth breeds. All are processed at a Certified Humane facility.

$100-$199 = $40 overnight shipping
$200 and over = $50 overnight shipping
In the colder winter months we also offer 2-day shipping tiers.

In the summer months all items are shipped for overnight arrival unless otherwise noted.
If your order is placed prior to 9AM EST on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday it will ship the same day unless with rare exception noted otherwise.
Orders placed after 9AM EST on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday will ship the next day unless with rare exception noted otherwise.
